I love these images. They have no particular thing to say, but allow one a field in which to dream, remember, contemplate, reflect. The sea has always seemed this way to me.
Each one of the four has subtle differences from the other three, but they all have one thing in common... They are AMAZING! Just looking at them makes me feel a sense of calm. You are an artist!
Freaking out!! that's exactly who I thought of when I scrolled down. Mark Rothko. A little story - I was educated with the notion that a painting could stand on it's own. No matter what. That was until I saw a Rothko above a chintz couch. The painting not only couldn't stand on it's own, it fell over dead. From then on I've concluded 'context is king'
Simple shots, but very effective. Love them all!
