Such drama. Really nice shots. Once again you make me see how one could become attached to this landscape (moonscape), though I think I'll stay back here in the tame Midwest. I was surprised to hear you did not grow up in such settings and are in fact an Easterner. Would the East seem boring now?
The light , the color, the texture and the vast expanse leave me with feelings of wonder, amazement and respect coupled with a feeling of insignificance and powerlessness. The composition as always is magnificent.
The top photo is my favorite and I say it again that seeing your photos tugs at my heart to be there again since I grew up in Riverside.
