But bring dogs to the beach, at a crepuscular (roxana loves that word) hour, and their hearts will beat fast, fast, fast—and you’ll know it because they will eventually wind up at your feet (when every avenue of pleasure has been properly exhausted).
immediately when i saw this, i told to myself: i must see Prospero's comment, he will be so touched... and then i had to laugh, seeing he also mentions me in regard to this post! :-)
Wow. These are magnificent shots. I discovered your post through Skywatch Friday. This is truly beautiful. The sunset is so breathtaking. Following your blog now! :D
I can't imagine getting tired of sunsets and sunrises--or dogs. I agree with Stewart--as dramatic as the sky and water are, the human and the dogs are the key to the picture. I suppose that's anthrocentric, but guess what--I'm an anthro. I bet dogs are dog-o-centric! I bet cactus is cactus-o-centric. Surely there's a Ph.D. dissertation on that somewhere?
Every shot is a gorgeous. The quotes are all gems. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteOh goodness -these are absolutely stunning. How glorious! And I love the quotes too. (A fellow dog lover.)

ReplyDeleteGreat photos. Each quote about the wonders of dogs moved me and made me smile. If only we humans would learn some of the dog attributes.
