Hey ! Now that's a change !And totally agree, good to get out and clear the cobwebs, howl at the moon, rock and roll, whatever !!!BTW, are you familiar by any chance with TomB.'s Tumblr page (link in my sidebar) ? If you go back into his fairly recent back posts there are some great band shots you may enjoy :http://tombphotography.tumblr.com/And another photographer who was doing some great band photos before her blog went quiet is Heather Ainsworth, well worth a look into her back posts...http://hmainsworth.blogspot.com/Hope all is good with you and looks like you had a smoking hot evening !
Great shots. Like a frenzied riff frozen in time by the click of the shutter.
Truly excellent shots! You captured the action extremely well! I have hundreds of memories of seeing punk and metal bands ripping through their sets but that was over 25 yrs ago. I think the last concert my wife and I went to was at the House of Blues in Anaheim (The New York Dolls) :)Anyway enough about me you are so talented!
You can almost hear the repeated chord progressions . . . great shots.
A great way to cut loose too. You know how I feel about music.
Brilliant, I love the first shot, what a character! Great change:)
Great, great photos - must have been a good night out! (My WV is 'snowi' - how does it know these things??)
Keep on rockin' in the free world!
I agree with Owen about what a change these images are! Excellent, excellent (especially that third one), all great captures.
i want to hear the music too, your images made me long for that :-)
Great portraits! I especially like the top and bottom shots. Very cool indeed.
I thought it was the Hard Rock Cafe? Are you telling me that you actually went out to 2 different social venues this year?Oh, cool photos, too.
