  11. L, Great shots! Pelicans are amazing creatures. There are 8 species of pelicans in the world. They inhabit every continent except Antarctica. They’re not only gigantic birds, some with wingspans as large as 10 feet, they can, using thermals, soar up to heights of 10,000 feet.
