O Autumn, laden with fruit, and stain’d
With the blood of the grape, pass not, but sit
Beneath my shady roof; there thou may’st rest,
And tune thy jolly voice to my fresh pipe,
And all the daughters of the year shall dance!
Sing now the lusty song of fruits and flowers.
~ from To Autumn by William Blake
Thank you for your friendship and visits throughout the year.
I wish all of you a joyful, peaceful and safe Thanksgiving Holiday.

Same to you, Stickup. Man, you really caught the contrasts and colors here, sawed 'em down to the basics just right--lines and points against blurry ovals and two vibrant colors that are very different, but not in conflict. I didn't think you could match the power of the first one, but the second one's compelling too.
ReplyDeleteRe: turkey day, something tells me you're not a football watcher . . . :) More country driving with camera?
Those photos are pure magic. About the only red we get down here in the swamps (Louisiana) is when poison ivy turns. LOL! Thanks for sharing. Love the Blake quote, too. I hope you have a very Happy Thanksgiving. xo
