All I can say is Wow ! Love the tidal pools... colors, COLORS !
Colors galore...
But honestly. This is cruel. It is cold and gray here now. And here you are, most cruel temptress, aiding and abetting the formulation of rampant thoughts of escapism, encouraging the wanderlust to bloom, causing combustion in the firing chambers of the mind that was resigning itself to the cold and dark and wet of northern Europe winters. Ah, this will not do.
On second thought, yes, it will do. Abundantly. Please, ma'am, may I have some more ?
Oh! Those are some of the most beautiful coastal shots I have ever seen. Makes my heart ache just wishing to walk that beach.
And, then, the tidal pools....you have done a stupendous job of showing the nuances, the colorful pulse of life that exists in these wonders of nature. I must say, Stickup, that these put the tide pool I've seen on the Oregon coast to shame. Ours are very monochromatic, and consist predominantly of anemones. I have never seen a starfish here, and the one you captured is SUBLIME!
I would love to wander such a place! The pools seem to be such a mini-gallery of nature's art. The anemone, urchins, star fish, and other lovely creatures. And interesting to think that while they seem to be simply on display, they are each in their own little life or death drama. Wonderful photos and I wish I was there!!
Sheesh, what a magnificent sight, these photographs are jaw-droppingly wonderful - simply AMAZING! You have captured every detail and texture, and the colours are just so gorgeously vibrant, I feel as if I am actually standing right in there by your shoulder, as you take the shot. What a beautiful way to start my morning.
This is one of my favorite local haunts. Park at the cove and go up and down the bluffs (plus the Sea Farrers chapel across the way). Did you catch a glimpse of the road that fell into the sea?
btw: those sea enenomie photos are otherworldly. Or should I say "Wild"?
Sorry to arrive so late to the party. With the first images I thought you could almost be at Etretat, if you just had a hole in the most salient piece of the rock.
Then I arrived at your SciFi series. Fantastique! You made good use of your post-Thanksgiving ramble.
BEAUTIFUL! This is a spot and I'm very familiar with it. As a much younger person, we used to dive her for abalone. They were everywhere. Now, not so much...
Sorry to be tardy to this post. I love the blues in the beach shots, but that first sea critter really bowled me over. What drama! And grace in those ?tentacles? I wonder if "he" is actually more dramatic than the other two, or is it just that I saw him first after some peaceful, beautiful ocean scenes?

Sometimes life's a beach, and sometimes a picture's worth a million looks.
