  3. Nice atmosphere you got blue. A time and concentration that makes you not realize you around. Greetings friends!

  4. It looks and feels Spring, for sure. That slice of green through the trees has that bright yellow/greenness of Spring growth. Also, its always fun to see you shooting people...love the way you caught her, poised and studious.

  5. The top picture shows so many things; the concentration of a cool photographer, the water and surrounding scenery. All the photos are great. There is a lighthearted feel in the photos. Fun.

  8. These photos are so amazing! The colors in the middle one are breathtaking! The woods are to me fauvist and the water pointillist. And the macros of the photographer in the other two are so graceful and clear with the hazy blue background...beautiful!

  9. The warmth of her skintones against all those cool shades of blue is lovely. The second picture takes me into a magical realm. The stillness and concentration of the photographer sitting by the water reminds me of a heron waiting, watching for the right moment to snap up the prize he knew would swim into view.

  10. One and three seem to be two moments in time. I can't tell which comes first. Or maybe it is a kind of cycling photographers do...look over the camera to see the shot, brace, and shoot it...look over the camera...repeat...or move on. These two shots say a lot about the process...and then there is "the girl taking the picture, of the girl taking the picture' looking over the camera to see the shot, bracing and taking the shot....love these...

  11. If Seurat would have done some photo studies prior to painting la Grande Jatte, the one in the middle might have been one...

So if she is not you than who she be ??? Just a stranger ? A ship in the night ?

    Be well, dear Stickemup

  12. I like that first photo, did she know she was being photographed? looks so relaxed and absorbed in what she's doing.

  13. I think that "Portrait of the Artist as a Stylishly Focused Young Woman Photographer" has done her proud. I hope that she stumbles upon it one day. You really do need those cartes de visite...

And I have always imagined you looking quite cool doing it, please don't fuck with my fantasies at this late date...

It goes without saying that the eagle has landed, but I'm nothing if not redundant. BTW, the guest room door is open and we have an excess of naturely ambiance around here. I'm just sayin'...
