Reflections On A Mountain Lake

  1. Gorgeous reflections, especially the last couple. You really have to look hard at them to determine that they are photos and not paintings.

  2. These are positively glowing and glorious...

I wanted to plunge right in, but didn't, as I didn't want to make waves...

  3. These are excellent. I especially like the parts where you captured the movement of the water. Then again when I look at the other shots I'm drawn to the colors and even some great texture. So I'll repeat (all) of these are excellent!

  4. Thanks Amy,

Those looked like paintings to me too and I hoped I just wasn't imagining it!

  6. Hey Owen,

Thank you and life would be pretty darn dull without waves and ripples!

  7. Thank you James,

It's fun to experiment when you don't have to worry about film and processing costs, deadlines, outcomes, etc.

  9. Bonjour Jean,

I don't speak French but I do recognize a reference to Monet and that just has to be good!

    Merci !

  10. I like the way that you captured the light and the way that it dances over the water, just stunning.

The way that the energy looked frozen in glass on a stunning day and showing how clear that water was is just unbelievable.

  11. Hey Fi,

The mountain lakes are so pristine. Much less murky then the man made reservoirs I've visited so play of light is a good subject to explore. Thank you!

  12. Hi again S.U. Artist. I noticed that you have a link to Weekend Reflections but I don't think you added your link to MckLinky. However I might have just not seen it or you didn't leave it on purpose.

  14. I don't know what else to say. Your work is awesome! I could be more literate, but don't really want to, just I am totally fond of the way you work.
