Dream Poem
Once in the dream of a night
I stood
Lone in the light of a magical wood,
Soul-deep in visions that poppy-like sprang;
And spirits of Truth were the birds that sang,
And spirits of Love were the stars that glowed,
And spirits of Peace were the streams that flowed
In that magical wood in the land of sleep.
~ From Song of a Dream by Sarojini Naidu
Wonderful...makes me wish to be 3 inches tall and this is the forest I live in!!!
ReplyDeleteAnother series of incredible photos . . . I love the poem.
ReplyDeleteIf i didn't know better i'd say you borrowed my camera!
ReplyDeleteThe perfect poem for these images. I wish i could take photos such as these. I was out photographing wildflowers recently-I could even say I was rather proud (they were in focus) then I see your work, and I wonder if were even depicting the same planet. These are so so so beautiful. Like cellular fairy dust
ReplyDeleteThe color and softness of the photo is inviting and gentle. Really like the photos. And of course the poem too.
ReplyDeleteGloriously intoxicating!
ReplyDeleteMagnificent colours! What a gorgeous trio. Well done.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous colors, lines, patterns of focus and blur. I wonder if an advantage photography has over painting is the blurs, which are natural, inevitable, and often very appealing. The poem makes a nice companion.
ReplyDeleteBeutiful,
ReplyDeleteMy dream realize few days. I go en bike for 3 months France(saint malo) Norway (Nord kapp).
"In that magical wood in the land of sleep"!!!
ReplyDeletehow wonderful... for me, these are the colours and hues of summer, i want to let myself float in endless dreams, on a summer night, just drifting away in seas of blue and turquoise and vibrant green... if i had Prospero's words, i could describe this floating better, and the infinite visions delighting my outward-closed eyes...
I came back to look again. Magical. Remember those salts you got as a kid and poured water on? They turned into stalagmites and stalactites? Harkens back to that time for me
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of which, you showed up big time in my dreams of Saturday morning!
