How perfectly appropriate ! Heading into another election cam-pain, errr, campaign, though it seems like Obama just got elected, it seems like no one has a clue as to what is going on, but all have their knives out for any back that is turned... Seems like the fog just keeps getting thicker. Is there hope ? Let's hope so, and meanwhile... onward through the fog !
PS saw a couple of folks you know in Paris today, it was WONDERFUL... went to see a photo expo on the Qaui Branly, along the Seine... you may be able to find some info on it by Googling "Photoquai"

Beautiful! As Owen says, lets hope we all get through the fog... however thick it gets!
ReplyDeleteCool moody shot, although it reminds me of my brain - watery and foggy!
ReplyDeleteWe see the end of the pier and then fog but it seem like there must be something out there.
ReplyDeleteI like the composition with a nice frame., And the mist from the sea and is so moist. A photo titled very successful Regards.
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely the best photo I've seen since I-don't-know-when.
ReplyDeleteFog
ReplyDeleteThe fog comes
on little cat feet.
It sits looking
over harbor and city
on silent haunches
and then moves on.
Carl Sandburg
from Chicago Poems, 1916
Talk about symbolism! Well, no need to talk about it as you've illustrated it so well.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very neat image. Love the flag at the end of the pier.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very powerful image! Great composition!
ReplyDeleteNicely forlorn.
ReplyDeleteWe spoke about you. Were your ears ringing?
I just love fog shots. This one is stunning!
ReplyDeleteThe images you capture always seem to lift me out of the fog . . .
ReplyDeleteDitto on what Owen wrote in his first paragraph...
ReplyDeleteI think this might be the most striking image everever of the American flag. It speaks to this time in its history, most definitely.
