Vitis Californica

I was walking around an open field behind our local community center when I was pleasantly surprised by a clump of wild grape vines displaying their vivid autumn colors amongst all the ochres and browns of the desert scrub. The scientific name of this wild grape is Vitis Californica.

  6. Your focus is so tight it becomes 3-D like. Nature is so abundant with stunning forms, and the closer you get, the more you see that it is right down to the very last detail of subtle color, veins in a leaf, etc. And, it continues that way even under microscopic examination. One could build a university around the task of fully comprehending a single blade of grass!

  10. I forgot to mention that image #3 looks like some shit I have on my chest on the skin that traverses my right collar bone. Have a date with the dermatologist to slash or burn––which remains to be seen. Come to France and develop discrete areas of skin cancer...

My god, I almost fell over backward out of my chair, just blown away by the intense blast of colors... Do you have a license or permit to go around with all that concealed color on your person ? You should be considered armed and dangerously creative...
    :-)

Love this almost as much as a certain red truck...
